Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda have only been together since Casa Amor, but after leaving the villa as a couple they’ve vowed to make things work.
The duo left the South African villa on Thursday night, after being voted the least compatible couple by the public.
Before saying farewell though, Olivia and Maxwell were given one final task – choosing two other Islanders to leave with them.
After deliberations, they opted for Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand.
Speaking after their exit, Olivia and Maxwell revealed plans to take their relationship to the next level when they get back to the UK.
Describing Maxwell as “worth the wait,” Olivia said: “We’re going on a date as soon as we can.
“I think we might go for dinner or maybe do a fun activity because we are both very spontaneous.
“I’m so excited to meet his friends and family and he’s excited to meet mine too. It’s all very exciting, I’ve never felt this way about a guy before.”
Maxwell added: “We had a date in the villa but we’ve been discussing what we might like to do outside and when we can do it. We also want to meet each other's friends and families.
He also revealed he’s doing the planning for their date, teasing: “I was thinking maybe a nice little sushi spot and some drinks.”
The duo’s exit came after a difficult night for the pair, who found themselves in the firing line as a row erupted over comments made between Jessie Wynter’s back.
When confronted about the conversation, Olivia stormed off and refused to explain herself to the Aussie Islander.
In her exit interview, Olivia insisted there’s no bad blood while making a cryptic comment about her thoughts on her co-star.
She said: “Me and Jessie are on good terms, my opinion of her and Will is separate from what I actually think of her as a person.
“I think she is a lovely girl but some of her actions were questionable, which other people felt too.”
Love Island continues at 9pm on weekdays and Sundays on ITV2 and ITVX.
