Millie Court and Liam Reardon made Love Island history on Monday night as they were crowned winners of the 2021 series.
The couple were announced as victors of the ITV2 dating show by host Laura Whitmore during the series finale, beating Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran.
While some viewers were left divided by the pair becoming champions, 24 year old Millie and 22 year old Liam have extra reason to celebrate their victory – as they have become the first pair of bombshells to win the show.
Bombshells have won the show before, but only when in a couple with somebody who has been an original Islander.

The first series of the show was won by Jess Hayes, who entered on day one, and Max Morley, who entered as a bombshell on day 14.
Series two, three and four winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay and Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham were all original couples.
In series five, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury came close to becoming the first bombshell couple to win, but were pipped to the post by original Islander Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea – who entered the villa on day 44.
Paige Turley was named winner of the show's sixth series alongside Finn Tapp, who entered on day five.
Viewers flocked to Twitter to congratulate the pair after noticing they had made history.
One wrote: "Millie and Liam made history tonight, never have a bombshell-only couple win the show before."

A second added: "Wait, this is the first year that a day one islander hasn’t won Millie and Liam were BOTH bombshells."
While a third said: "Millie and Liam !!!!!! Yes!!!!! A thousand times YES!!! First ever BOMBSHELLS to win!!!!"
Viewers also admitted they "knew" Millie and Liam would win the series thanks to the show's "giveaway" theory.
A theory circulated by fans online claims that whichever couple is standing on the host's left-hand side will win the competition, with it coming true six times.
Previous winners Jess and Max, Cara and Nathan, Amber and Kem, Dani and Jack and Paige and Finn have all stood in the same position as Millie and Liam.
The only year the theory didn't come true was in 2019, when Amber and Greg were stood to the right of former host Caroline Flack.
