Love Islander Brad McClelland confirmed to enter the iconic villa
22nd June 2021

Labourer Brad McClelland from Northumberland has been confirmed to appear in this year's Love Island and is looking forward to dating meeting new people.

The cast of the ITV2 dating show were revealed on Monday, June 21, and Brad can't wait to be chilling in the sun in Majorca.

Ahead of appearing on the ITV2 reality show, the 25-year-old explained why he's taking part: “I want to date face-to-face, I like meeting people. I’m easy going, laid back. Who wouldn’t want to be in a nice villa in a hot country for a while?".

The iconic villa on the island of Majorca seems like the perfect fit for the laid-back labourer.

When asked about how his colleagues would describe him, he said: “I try and make as much money as I can by doing as little as possible.

"They’d probably say – not lazy, as I’m energetic – I just try to get away with doing literally nothing."

When asked who is his celeb crush Brad said: “Sommer Ray from Instagram. Zara McDermott, she’s a good-looking lass. Or Megan Fox”.

With an ex-glamour model, ex-beauty queen and Instagram influencers Brad will be sure to be in his element with beautiful women.

Over on his Instagram Brad is never far away from an adventure or long hike, showing some stunning views in Northumberland.

Along with gym selfies and cheeky smiles throughout his photos, this is one cheeky chap entering the villa.

With a current following of almost 8K (at the time of writing), it’s almost certain that Brad’s following will increase significantly once he enters the villa.

Following ex-Love Island contestants and trolls that have escalated over the years the producers are giving mandatory therapy sessions, social media training, which includes how to handle trolls, and the Islanders will also receive financial advice.

Love Island will be returning on June 28 at 9 pm. It will be available to watch on IVT2 or ITV hub.
