KATIE Pirce says her son Harvey "doesn't understand" why he doesn't visit his dad like his siblings.
The reality star's, 42, eldest son, 18, doesn't have a relationship with his biological father Dwight Yorke.
However, Harvey – who lives with Prader-Willi syndrome and is on the autism spectrum – cannot understand why his siblings Junior, 15, Princess, 13, get to see dad Peter Andre and Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, spend time with dad Kieran Hayler.
"The thing is, Harvey's been let down like I have. I mean, majorly let down and you don't do it to kids," Katie told the Mirror.
"I'm an adult, it's not nice to let people down, but Harvey has seriously been let down by my serious relationships I've had.
"He doesn't understand why the kids go to see their dads and he doesn't. He doesn't understand."
Harvey's biological father is pro footballer Dwight Yorke.
The ex-Aston Villa and Manchester United forward initially denied Harvey was his, but the claims were proven wrong with a DNA test.
Katie has raised their son alone, and has previously publicly blasted him for not being a father figure – revealing that he hadn't seen him for ten years.
The former glamour model was left furious when Dwight didn't contact her when Harvey was hospitalised and fighting for his life earlier this year.
Dwight didn’t contact ex Katie to get an update on his son’s health – but did call into TalkSport to speak about Manchester United’s performance against Southampton.
“Katie’s furious – she can’t believe that Dwight didn’t even bother calling to check on his son,” says the insider.
“Harvey is fighting for his life and is suffering serious health issues and Dwight’s just ignoring the whole situation.
“It’s not like he is busy or doesn’t know – it’s been front page news and he found the time to call into TalkSport.
“It’s very upsetting for Katie. She’s not happy.”
Harvey, 18, was rushed into Epsom Hospital in Surrey in June after falling ill with a temperature of 42 degrees.
Katie is now in a relationship with former Love Island star Carl Woods.
