Jenelle Evans' Domestic Violence Call Featured In New Trailer for 'Teen Mom 2'
22nd December 2018

At another point in the preview, Evans wipes tears from her eyes.

MTV just announced that "Teen Mom 2" will return right after we all ring in the new year, dropping a premiere date and the first trailer for the new season.

Jenelle Evans, Kail Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska and Briana DeJesus will all be back in the show’s eighth season, premiering Monday, January 14 on MTV — and the new sneak peek doesn’t stray from the drama.

The trailer, which aired during Monday’s finale of "Teen Mom OG," confirms that the show will include the 9-1-1 call Evans made against her husband, David Eason, in October. While only a short clip is included in the preview, Evans called the police and alleged Eason attacked her in their own home, cracking her collarbone.

She later posted a lengthy video saying she was "completely fine." She added, "I’ve been in so many domestic violence situations in the past that I would not put up with it now. So I don’t know why you guys would think that I would continue to stay in this relationship if I was being abused."

We’ll have to wait and see how it all unfolds on the show — but, on the plus side, Evans also seems to be in a better place with her mother, Barbara, in the preview.

Also teased in the footage: Kail reconnecting with her estranged mom, Chelsea giving birth to her third child and Leah’s dating life.

MTV’s "Teen Mom 2" premieres Monday, 1/14 at 9PM ET/PT.
