Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James has praised her close friend and I'm A Celebrity's Josie Gibson as her "guardian angel".
Ahead of 38 year old Josie's jungle entrance, Ashley shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying: "Having a break whilst I'm away but I just had to come on here and wish Josie Gibson so much luck for the jungle. She deserves to be a queen, I'm so happy for everything coming Josie's way."
Ashley continued to share their touching backstory, revealing: "Lots of you won't know but Josie was my literal guardian angel after a bad breakup almost 10 years ago.
"I'd only met her twice but after reading my relationship was over online she called me to check in. I was a mess and had no money etc – within 10 minutes Josie was in a van one the way from Bristol to pick me and all my possessions up."
She continued: "I lived with her for five months and she helped me pick my life back up and helped me build my self esteem. We had a lot of fun together.
"Josie is always so giving and I'm just so happy that she is getting the recognition she deserves from just being a 10/10 human. I'll love her forever."
Before heading into the jungle, This Morning host and former Big Brother champ Josie made a promise to herself to give it her all. She shared: "I've promised myself that even if I'm frightened to death, I'm going to give everything the best, the best I can do."
"I'm going to give everything my fullest. I'm going to put everything behind it because I feel like if you come to a job probably, then don't do it at all.
"So as long as I know that I've walked away from everything that I've been put up for, and I've done it to the best of my ability then I'll be happy."
She added: “I also don’t like spiders and I freeze normally when I see one.
“My family thinks I am mad doing the programme too as they know what I’m like with creepy crawlies!”
