I’m A Celeb’s AJ Pritchard ‘wanted business class flights to Australia’
16th November 2020

AJ Pritchard was left disappointed by I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here 's move to Wales as he had been vying for business class flights to Australia.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star's brother Curtis Pritchard spoke to Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show about AJ joining I'm A Celeb.

He revealed: "AJ said he wanted to fly business class to Australia, and the family flying business class, that was the biggest thing for him and he didn't get any of it."

Dancer AJ entered Gwrych Castle in Sunday night's I'm A Celeb premiere, and he may be in for a tough time according to Curtis.

The Love Island star said: "When they all got there and came out of the helicopters and cars I felt so bad because they all looked freezing.

"I knew AJ would be travel sick, getting off the helicopter I thought me might throw up because he doesn't like travelling or flying."

Curtis went on: "He mentioned he doesn't like rats, anything to do with rats he said he'll be scared to the bone – and confined spaces."

He confessed: "I want to make him do as many trials as humanly possible, I want to see him cry, scream, maybe throw up. I'm the worst brother ever."

Despite being adventurous as kids, Curtis said AJ has developed a few fears later in life.

"As AJ's got a little bit older, he's become a little more squeamish," he said.

"He is scared of spiders now, and heights, so I think he's going to be shocked himself with this."

The reality star added: "AJ doesn't really believe in ghosts and stuff, but if in the middle of the night a massive noise happened, I think it would [spook him]".

AJ joined the I'm A Celeb cast alongside Beverley Callard, Giovanna Fletcher, Hollie Arnold, Jessica Plummer, Jordan North, Mo Farah, Shane Richie, Vernon Kay and Victoria Derbyshire.
