Watch the trailer for I'm a Celebrity South Africa
I’m A Celebrity…South Africa makes its debut on Monday, April 24, on ITV with the show leaving the wilderness of Australia.
During the coronavirus pandemic, two seasons were filmed at a Welsh castle but this is the first time the series has ventured to South Africa in its 20-year history.
Nine celebrities were flown out last year when I’m A Celebrity was pre-recorded in July 2022 so snippets of what went on have been slowly but surely coming out ahead of its premiere.
Although all the details aren’t yet known, viewers can expect to see things kick off between former Countdown star Carol Vordeman and American model Janice Dickinson.
It has been reported that the two women were at loggerheads due to a difference in opinion over the Royal Family.
While 68-year-old Janice expressed that she thought the royals needed to go, 62-year-old Carol argued in favour of the British institution.
Janice reportedly strongly disagreed with ex-royal butler Paul Burrell and former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan leaping to Carol’s defence.
A source explained: “It was a really explosive bust-up… Janice was effing and blinding.
“Janice can be quite abrasive and things got very heated.

“She said Carol’s views were old-fashioned and dated while Carol hit back that Janice was crass and obnoxious.
“She and Carol are both strong women with strong opinions. It was a personality clash that was bound to explode.”
Carol appeared on ITV’s Lorraine to discuss her time on I’m A Celebrity where she said she had made some good friends during the show.
However, when asked about Janice, Carol simply said: “We’ll not talk about her so much.”
On another occasion, Janice teased plenty of drama from the hit reality show.
She said: “Everything went on. There were ups, there were downs, there was lots of laughter and lots of tears.”
Fans are just going to have to wait to see the row unfold in the coming few weeks.
I’m A Celebrity…South Africa premieres on Monday, April 24, at 9pm on ITV.
