Syabira Yusoff won the hit Channel 4 baking show last year after impressing Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

England fans rage 'they moved Bake Off for this' after dreadful start vs Italy

"So, the function of the host is to not only make jokes in the tent, but Matt Lucas, as well as Noel Fielding, they were there when we really, really panicked.

Matt stunned fans last year when he announced he was departing the tent after hosting with Noel Fielding for three years.

He blamed a number of clashing hosting commitments for his reason for hanging up his apron.

He has since been replaced by This Morning's Alison Hammond who has become a hit with viewers.

Bake Off continues tonight on Channel 4.
