How do I apply for Bake Off?
The Great British Bake Off will soon be looking for the next star bakers to knead and crimp in the famous tent, which in 2023 is located back in Welford Park.
All budding bakers will be encouraged to apply to be in the popular show's next series in 2024.
If you think you've got what it takes to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, you can apply to appear in the show via the "take part" website.
If you can't apply online easily, you can request an application form to be posted to you.

When is the deadline for applying?
Applications to apply for the 2024 show are currently open.
The deadline for applications is typically around December and if you don't hear back by March the following year, it most likely means your application was unsuccessful.
Who is eligible to apply for Bake Off?
To apply for the show, you must be aged 16 years or above on January 1, 2024, and a resident of the UK (including the Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

To be eligible you must also be willing and able to commit to all the filming days required for the programme.
Filming is expected to take place between April and August 2024 and the show will span across 12 episodes.
In addition, applicants must never have been employed or work professionally as a baker, cook or chef.
Applicants must also not have earned, or be earning, their main source of income from commercial baking or cooking in a professional environment.
If you do decide to give it a go, be aware there’s a lot more to the application process than just filling in a form – you’ll also have to prove you can bake.

When does the new series of The Great British Bake Off start?
Channel 4 has confirmed that The Great British Bake Off will return for season 14 on Tuesday, September 26, 2024.
New episodes will air every Tuesday.
Twelve new bakers enter the tent in hopes of being crowned this year's winner.
