Bachelor Nation was first introduced to her back on season 23 of The Bachelor after she was a contestant.

She later went on to star in the sixth season of Bachelor In Paradise and took over as The Bachelorette in season 16 after Clare Crawley's dramatic early exit.

After she met her happily ever after, Zac Clark, she then took over as co-host of The Bachelorette following Chris Harrison's departure.

Before her quest for love, she attended Concordia University Irvine and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in biology.

Tayshia previously worked as a phlebotomist, where she administered blood tests.

Tayshia was born on September 4, 1990, making her a Virgo.

The 31-year-old was born and raised in Newport Beach, California.

Her father is African-American and her mother is Mexican making her and her siblings bi-racial. She has three siblings including: Desmond Jr., Brice and Dominique.

Was Tayshia hospitalized?

On November 11, 2021, Tayshia worried fans after she revealed that she was in the hospital.

The former Bachelorette updated fans via Instagram where she appeared to be hooked up to an IV and under a hospital blanket.

"Welp I've been here since 9:30 a.m.," she wrote. "What a day."

The news comes just days after she competed in the New York City marathon alongside her fiancé.

In the days following, Tayshia informed fans that she "physically could not walk Monday and Tuesday," and it "was the most painful thing in the world."

At this time, it still remains unclear what caused her symptoms but Zac had taken to Instagram after the race to praise his fiancé and revealed that she had "chronic knee/back pain," and an "inability to train due to her insane schedule" prior.

"The untold story about @tayshia is one of humility and courage," Zac wrote at the time.

"She would never tell the world how truly inspiring her performance was yesterday at the @nycmarathon but I will.

"Leading up to Sunday she did dozens of interviews where she could have talked about her chronic knee/back pain or her inability to train due to her insane schedule but instead she talked about her charity of choice, @worldvisionusa, and how grateful she was for all the support from family, friends, fans and strangers."

He continued: "No one will remember her 'time' but the fact that she went out and ran … this race in 4 hours and 40 minutes.

"I will be forever grateful to have had a front row seat to her performance yesterday, as will the thousands of others who cheered her along the way (the screams overpowered the Pearl Jam playing in my ears for most of the day). The world is a better place today then it was yesterday because of you ….. KEEP GOING."

Are Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark still together?

The two have not picked a wedding date but are enjoying living in New York City together.

Their dates on the show seem also prophetic now looking back.

On their first one-on-one date, Tayshia and Zac took wedding photos. On their faux hometown date, he took her on a pretend date around New York City.

When Zac was given the final rose he dropped down on one knee, “And if you’ll let me, I’m going to choose you right now. I’m going to choose you tomorrow morning. I’m going to choose you next week and next year. I’m going to choose you forever, because I love you.”

In May, Tayshia opened up to Cosmopolitan about the status of her relationship with Zac saying, "It’s like a sleepover with your best friend, of course it is. New York has been such a joy to experience."

"It’s so different living there as opposed to visiting. It’s a different kind of magic. It’s been fun."
