Kate Garraway appeared frustrated as she got into a fiery clash with MP Greg Hands during the latest episode of Good Morning Britain.

While hosting the ITV show alongside Ben Shephard, the presenters spoke to the Minister of State for Trade policy of the UK.

But as they spoke about Prime Minister Liz Truss and the current state of the economy, things became awkward when Kate shouted over the MP during the debate.

However fans also believed Greg wasn't a great representation on the early morning programme and took to Twitter to comment on this aspect too.

Seeing the heated conversation unfold, one viewer wrote: "Alright Kate, no need to shout."

While another said: "Greg Hands squirming on #GMB today, yesterday James Cleverly, earlier this week, Rees Mogg and Terese Coffey. Spineless and self serving who appear to not give one jot about the hardships facing ordinary folk in this country."

Another shared: "Greg Hands claims “It’s not unusual” for the Chancellor to be hauled back from an IMF meeting for crisis talks with Prime Minister. #GMB Tom Jones could get away with the message."

Meanwhile a fourth added: "You almost have to feel sorry for Greg Hands. Clueless. What a car crash."

The news of Kate's interview comes after she received a NTA award for her documentary Caring for Derek, the follow-up documentary to Finding Derek.

Bringing the award into the GMB studio, Kate hid her gong under the desk but despite hiding her award, many were quick to compliment her achievement, including fans online.
