Good Morning Britain hosts discussed their co-star Richard Madeley'sI'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! stint while ripping into him on the programme.

Susanna Reid and Ed Balls hosted the breakfast programme on Tuesday, with journalists Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire also featuring on the show.

Susanna led the conversation about her co-star but Daily Mirror's Kevin piped up to say that his campmates may struggle with Richard's chatterbox ways.

He stated: "No one else is going to get a word in edgeways.

"Even if they stuff his mouth with bits of animals that you don't really want to eat."

Susanna then responded by claiming that the show wouldn't be for her, as she would find too much of it difficult.

She said: "For me, it's the things you have to eat and the heights."

Richard has been named one of the ten contestants going on this year's ITV reality show, and will be joined by the likes of Frankie Bridge, Danny Miller and Gavid Ginola.

The celebs will be heading to Wales again for the second year in a row due to Covid restrictions and according to reports Richard is already a favourite to be picked for the first Bushtucker trial.

This comes after the breakfast show was opened up with a bitter banter session between Charlotte Hawkins and Laura Tobin.

The weather forecaster was talking about starting her Christmas shopping on Tuesday's show, which prompted Charlotte to ask her to get her something 'nice'.

The presenter said: "Ooh, get me something nice!"

To which, Laura replied: "Ok, wonderful, I can get you something for your face to improve it."

Shocked by her nasty comment, Charlotte looked bewildered as Laura moved on to her weather segment.

After she finished her forecast, Laura came back in to say that she would get, in fact, Charlotte something nice.

Although the mood was jokey between the GMB ladies, it was obvious that Charlotte wasn't best pleased with the digs.

But Charlotte wasn't so forgiving and bit back by saying: "Oh yeah, try to make it up now… We might have some technical issue with you later, and you will have to stop me from pulling out the cables."

Laura then quickly left the show, with producers cutting her segment very quickly.

Charlotte then added: "Unfortunately, she's gone what a shame that will teach you."
