The reality TV star is jetting out to Thailand to film scenes for Towie next week just days before she's due to perform on the last show of the series.
The Sun Online revealed bosses' fears that Gemma will be a no show on the night following a stressful week for the 38-year-old who split from boyfriend James Argent after he shared a video of her snoring on social media and then just days later her mum was rushed to hospital with pneumonia.
But Gemma claims she won't miss the finale, telling fans she will be taking to the ice no matter what.
She said: "Guys don’t worry …. despite all the rumours I’m definitely BACK for the FINALS. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
"Can’t wait to see who wins. GC will be skating one last time. See y’all next Sunday."
She shared the message with a video of her landing on her backside during dress rehearsals.
Gemma famously fell on live TV when her Beyonce routine went wrong on the night.
Incredibly, the TV personality got back up and carried on – despite being left with painful injuries.
Upon hearing news of her return, one supportive fan said: "You made the show! Your comical come backs to the vile haters are great. Yes you fell but you laughed it out and got back up. I'm looking forward to the final mainly to see you come bk! GC back and she gonna make trouble!!!"
Another added: "Hallelujah the GC is back."
Someone else said: "Looking forward to seeing you and Matt back on the ice one last time."
Eliminated skaters will begin rehearsals for the big finale next week – but Gemma will be out of the country for the majority of the time.
A source exclusively told The Sun Online: "Gemma is flying to Thailand with Towie next week in between training for Dancing on Ice finals,"
"She'll train on Monday – fly to Thailand Tues-Thurs – be back for DOI training Fri, Sat, and the final on Sunday.
"It's left everyone in a panic as to whether she will be ready for the finals. She wants to do it though and is determined to make it work."
Despite the Gemma's dramatic social life making headlines in the build up to the final, the show's Associate Creative Director Dan Whiston insists it won't overshadow the final itself.
He told us: "I think there'll only be one star of the final and that's the finalists.
"I don't think anyone will upstage anyone at that moment because everyone's so invested in the final and worked so hard."
