Gemma Collins calls Brian McFadden her 'rock' in Dancing On Ice rehearsals months after revealing he rejected her in favour of KFC
5th January 2019

The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma, 37, and former Westlife singer Brian, 38, are both competing in the ITV1 show which launches tonight.

And Gemma, who has been paired with professional ice dancer Matt Evers on the show, said her pop star pal should be given an award for helping her out as the pair endure their gruelling training sessions for the series.

Posting a video of Brian on Instagram, Gemma wrote: "Support award @brianmcfadden123 you have been so AMAZING with my throughout this journey, thank you.

"Everytime I have a wobble you're right there picking me up again.

"Thank you so much for being my rock throughout this competition with @themattevers."

Gemma once tried to seduce Brian but he was too busy scoffing a bucket of KFC.

The TOWIE legend's heart may belong to on/off boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent now but, in her opinion, the former Westlife singer is "the one who got away".

Appearing on Irish TV series Livin' With Lucy recently, Gemma revealed she tried to give the singer some of her candy, but he was more of a savoury fan.

While being filmed in her Essex home, she said: "I loved Westlife and Brian McFadden was the one who got away. He should have been mine.

"Brian McFadden has been in this apartment. I wanted to jump on him but he had a bucket of KFC.

"That was not the reason I wanted to jump on him.

"I thought, 'How am I going to get McFadden into the bedroom?' because I wanted to fulfil this lifelong dream of making love to Brian McFadden."

Sadly she wasn't able to make her dream a reality even though she thinks they "could have been Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers" if things had panned out differently.

Gemma also spoke of her disappointment at learning Brian has been dating PE teacher Danielle Parkinson for two years.

Gutted, she said: "Oh s**t, he has a girlfriend. Forget it.

"He looks happy. It's never going to happen."
