Game of Thrones has had it’s fair share of criticism over the show’s ending, but on the most part, the cast have stayed positive about the HBO fantasy.
However, with a petition for a reshoot being signed by over one million fans, cast members have begun to speak out about what they really think of the show.
In a recent appearance on Yahoo’s White Wine Question Time podcast, Osha star Natalia Tena revealed she was disappointed with how the show ended.
Speaking the podcast host Kate Thornton, Natalie talked listeners through her thoughts while binge watching the big finale, revealing she enjoyed the show right up until the iconic moment where Arya played the Night King.
However, the star went on to reveal the final episodes seemed fragmented, as if the scripts were written by “different people”.
Natalia said: “I liked it to the bit where she stabs him in the heart, I liked it up to then.
“But after that, I just feel like – I just didn’t understand.
“The calibre of writing towards the end and the plots and everything that happens and how they wrapped it up compared to any other season, any other bit, it just feels like it’s been written by different people.
“It doesn’t make sense, for me.”
The star went on to reveal the finale sent her into a long rant as she raged to her friends about how the series was wrapped up.
Natalia added: “I was a few glasses of wine in when I watched it. I’d binge-watched the whole thing.
“My boyfriend had to leave the boat because I was ranting for an hour at him about how much I didn’t like it.
“And then I rang my friend to rant to him.
However, despite the star’s strong reaction, she confirmed she will not be signing a reshoot petition any time soon.
She continued: ”It’s done. I don’t think I’d go as far as petition. I think they had to end it. [But] I don’t understand why they made those choices.”
The star is not the only one to speak out about the finale after Missadei star Nathalie revealed she is missing the show and is struggling to commit to new roles.
Nathalie tole Entertainment Tonight: ”When that ended, it was almost like going through a breakup,”
“When other shows had kind of come along… that needed a six-year option, I was like, ‘I’m not ready!’”
“It’s like I’m still sleeping in my old boyfriend’s jumper at night. I’m not ready for a new jumper. I’m not ready to date again! It was that sort of feeling”
Game of Thrones aired on HBO and UK fans can catch up on the final season via Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
