FANS are overjoyed as an axed Disney+ show has found a new home with a rival streamer, thanks to an unexpected rescue deal.
According to TVLine, there's some exciting news for fans of the British drama series that was sadly cancelled by the streaming giant.
Disney+ axed the popular show in August as part of the platform's ongoing cost-cutting efforts.
But it's good news for fans now – as it turns out that AMC has come to the rescue and picked up Nautilus.
The 10-episode live-action series, based on Jules Verne's novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, is set to come to screens in 2024.
The show follows the captivating journey of Captain Nemo – an Indian prince stripped of his birthright and family.

After being imprisoned by the East India Mercantile Company, he becomes determined to seek revenge against those who have taken everything from him.
"Nautilus is a big, sweeping drama that is sure to appeal to fans of our Anne Rice Immortal Universe and other buzzy and fan-forward series like Orphan Black: Echoes. We are looking forward to bringing it to AMC+ and AMC as a special television event next year," AMC Networks and AMC Studios Executive Vice President of Original Programming Ben Davis said in a statement.
"I am hugely excited that the efforts of everyone involved in the making of the show will be seen on such a prestigious network," executive producer, creator and writer James Dormer said.
In the lead role of Captain Nemo, we have the talented Shazad Latif, known for his work in Star Trek: Discovery.
