Emmerdale's Lydia Dingle has been left traumatised after being raped by her childhood sweetheart Craig Reed in a harrowing encounter.
Lydia, played by Karen Blick, has kept quiet about her attack so far, but her behaviour has sparked suspicion from her friends and family as they have noticed something is not right.
Only Kim Tate has found out about what she has been going through, as Lydia broke down and told her after being left devastated by Mandy's accusation that she was having an affair.

Despite Kim urging her to talk to Sam about her attack, Lydia has been struggling to cope and has been baring the burden by herself.
But Lydia is about to expose the truth about Craig in a showdown with her family after going away to clear her head.
Next week, Sam is upset when Lydia leaves the village, telling him she is going “to her mother’s” and he doesn’t understand why.
A worried Sam talks to Kim who subtly tests the waters with him, trying to determine if Lydia’s revealed her secret.
They’re both left more panicked when they try to call Lydia’s mum, only to find Lydia isn’t there.
Kim’s flustered when Sam turns on her, demanding she tells him what she knows, while Lydia listens to Sam's voicemail message and she questions why she decided to run away.
Back at home, Sam’s worst fears are confirmed when Mandy reveals she thinks Lydia’s having an affair.
Mandy does her best to explain her suspicions as Sam’s desperate to make sense of things but the family are thrown when a fragile Lydia arrives home, ready to bear all.
The Dingles are horrified as Lydia finally decides to open up and she reveals her trauma and she admits she was raped by Craig.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
