Emmerdale’s Chas and Al affair fears as Paddy romance hits breaking point
22nd September 2020

Emmerdale 's Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) could be set to stray from partner Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) as their relationship reaches breaking point.

The couple have been struggling for months, and with the anniversary of their baby Grace's death approaching, things are getting no easier.

New Emmerdale spoilers reveal that, next week, Chas flirts with Al Chapman (Michael Wilding), who is currently with Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade).

As the week opens, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) asks Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) for some suggestions on how to help get Chas and Paddy's relationship back on track.

However the duo are soon interrupted when an argument breaks out between Chas and Paddy.

Chas storms out, leaving Paddy to look after little baby Eve.

Over at the Zen Gardens, Chas is quite amused as she spots Al hiding from Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) behind a bush.

It's not long before Al suggests that Chas is also hiding from someone, and she figures out that he's hit the nail on the head.

But the realisation leaves Chas wondering whether to laugh or to cry.

Al and Chas start flirting harmlessly as they talk about each other's partners.

When Al leaves, it's clear that Chas has really enjoyed herself.

Could an affair be on the cards between Chas and Al?

Later in the week, on the anniversary of Grace's death, a thoughtful Chas lays flowers at the grace.

She reflects on the state of her and Paddy's relationship.

Is it too late to save things, or will they give it another go together?

Chas and Paddy's relationship was the focus of one of Emmerdale's special lockdown episodes.

The two of them had very different ideas on how they should spend their days, but appeared to reach common ground and want to give their relationship another go.

But now that it's not just the two of them stuck in a house together again, could things change?
