Emmerdale viewers have been sharing their theories on where Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) is, but they’ll have three long weeks of not knowing what has happened to her and Millie.
Andrea has disappeared with Millie after finding out her husband was having an affair, and Friday’s show saw Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) speaking to the police to try and track down their whereabouts.
After coming home to find his wife and daughter gone, Jamie became increasingly worried about their welfare.
Tracy (Amy Walsh) and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) were equally worried when they realised Andrea hadn’t returned home or stayed the night at the B&B.
Tracy also discovered Andrea’s bag — complete with purse, car keys and cards — at the house, which had them all fearing something was badly wrong.
At the end of the episode, Andrea and Millie were revealed to be alive – but their whereabouts or whether they will come back to Jamie are still unknown.
With the coronavirus pandemic stopping filming, Friday’s episode was the last one filmed pre-lockdown, and the next three weeks will feature special lockdown episodes instead of the usual show.
These specials will be airing twice a week and they’ll mostly be stand-alone episodes, although the things we’ll see during them will feature in future storylines.
Fans took to Twitter to share their own theories on what has happened to Andrea, but they will have to wait three weeks to find out for sure.
It might be a bit of a wait, but this storyline is sure to have a few more twists and turns to come once new episodes have been filmed.
Emmerdale continues Monday 8 June at 7pm on ITV.
