Mary Goskirk introduces daughter Rhona to her new partner Faye in Emmerdale on Monday night (March 20), as a new romance looks set to bloom in the village.
After enlisting the help of close friend Rodney Blackstock, Mary met her match through an online dating app – but will it be love everlasting for the soap newcomer?
While viewers wait to see how Mary's romance will unfold, away from the soap, actress Louise Jameson has had a very interesting love life off-screen too.

Louise, who is famous for playing Leela in BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, has starred in a variety of TV programmes including Doc Martin, The Bill and EastEnders.
She has two sons from a previous relationship and revealed to Daily Mail that they are often asked what it is like to have a famous mum, saying: "I think it probably worked to their advantage, especially when they were teenagers and I was in EastEnders – I think that gave them a bit of kudos.
"My second grandchild, Hugo, will almost definitely be a performer somewhere down the line – he likes making people laugh, putting on makeup, and he adores a camera."
However her career has also brought her romance.
While the actress was filming Bergerac in the mid eighties, in which she played Susan Young, she fell in love with artist Martin Bedford.
The couple married in 1990 in a church near to Louise's home in Kent, with Martin becoming stepfather to her two sons.
Martin and Louise divorced seven years later, with the actress speaking candidly about their split during an interview with The Mirror.
"It got to the stage where had we continued living together we'd have been in real danger of losing that love entirely," said Louise.
"We became careless of one another's feelings and no longer put each other first. I'm an incurable romantic. I love intimate suppers, cards and flowers, all of that.
"I will never regret marrying Martin because he made me happy for such a long time."
She also revealed the moments that she missed with him, including speaking about their days when they had come home from work, saying: "But most of all I miss the laughter."
Although Louise spoke about her divorce at the time, the actress tends to keep her personal life away from the public eye and it is not known if she is currently single or in a relationship.
However she did share a sweet snap of her sons together on Twitter in 2020, with the two standing on a beach smiling.
Louise captioned the post: "Here are my sons. Two of the best fathers I know," followed by a love heart.
