Emmerdale: Chloe Harris slams ‘self-centred’ Mackenzie
In recent scenes in Emmerdale, Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) was getting ready to leave the village in a bid to keep her fling with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) a secret.
However, things took an unexpected turn when baby Reuben was rushed to hospital.
Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) became concerned when checking the baby’s temperature, and told Chloe they needed to go to A&E.
Although, as the news spread across the village, Mack started to worry and secretly went to the hospital behind Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) back.
It later turned out that baby Reuben had contracted bacterial meningitis and was being monitored by the doctors and nurses.
Although, during Friday’s episode, baby Reuben’s health seemed to take a turn, with doctors warning Chloe to expect the worse.
Mack also turned up at the hospital, begging Chloe to see his son.
Although, this led Chloe to shout at Mack, telling him he was no father to Reuben.
“I want to be here,” Mack insisted. “I want him to be ok more than anything.”
“Well, he’s not ok and there’s nothing I can do about it,” Chloe sobbed. “I am not on my own I am with my son.”
“Our son,” Mack corrected as Chloe raged: “No, he’s not your son. You keep saying you’re the only one that understands what I’m going through, but I don’t get why you think that because you’re not his dad.”

Many seem to think that in a bizarre paternity twist, Mack is not the father of Reuben.
Taking to Twitter, @Samanth22356123 shared: “I really hope after this it turns out Mack isn’t even the dad!! #Emmerdale.”
@margy_1954 said: “Still don’t believe he is the father.”
@geraldine.mulcahy added: “Still don’t believe he the dad. …Mac actually makes Charity more human.”
While on a Facebook fan page, Joy Pack shared: “So obvious that the baby is going to turn out not to be his – baby will probably be ill and on checking blood type, they will find he isn’t the father. I suspect Nate.”
Gillian Griffiths also shared: “I predict this child will need blood and this will prove that Mack is not the baby’s father !!!!!”
Michaela Garner went on to theorise: “Great episode. Felt heartbroken for Mack. I’m not convinced it’s Mackenzie’s son.”
