Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Noah storyline predicting he’ll be the ‘next psychopath’
19th May 2022

Emmerdale fans have been following Noah Dingle's (Jack Downham) troubling stalker storyline intently since he started behaving creepily around Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland). Noah has been stalking Chloe for weeks. He planted a tracking device in her phone, stole her keys and even filmed her unaware.

Thankfully, his unacceptable behaviour was discovered and he's now facing court proceedings as a result. However, fans of the ITV show have dubbed the character "a lost cause" as he continues to shirk responsibility and take the blame for his actions.

His attitude led some fans to comment that he could be the village's next psychopath, following Meena Jutla's (Paige Sandhu).

Taking to reddit, one wrote: "His character is at a crossroads. He either learns from this and grows up."

"Or he matures into a full-blown psychopathic nutter with a horribly warped view of women, and a victim mentality about himself where nothing is ever his fault and the world is against him."

Another added: "A long term storyline of the village pervert could work as long as it isn't dropped. Like he needs to become even more unlikeable, more entitled and have his peers react to that."

Delving deeper into the storyline, a third fan commented: "It is part of the Psychology of Stalkers to think they’ve done nothing wrong.

"Most stalkers don’t take it to the level of violence. But a few do. Not sure if Noah would be one of the few."

Looking further ahead into the potential of the story, fans even theorised that Noah's misogyny and aggression could get worse after spending time in prison – if it comes to that.

A fan wrote: "They could possibly have jail making him even more 'Poor me! It’s all so unfair!' and have him come out only to commit even worse offences, but then where could they go with that except an even longer sentence?"

Another added: "They could definitely having him become worse before he gets better. I love that idea of him getting a short sentence and meeting fellow misogynistic types inside.

"Either coming out worse but somehow realising the error of his ways or getting in too deep and slowly realising where this path would take him."
