It’s the beginning of a new week in soapland, and this one brings with it plenty of emotions, as a vengeful Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin) wastes little time in exacting revenge on Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) as the day of Mel Owen’s (Tamzin Outhwaite) funeral arrives in EastEnders, while Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) prepares to take Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) for everything he’s got in Coronation Street as their wedding day arrives.

Kim Tate’s (Claire King) not too pleased with Andrea (Anna Nightingale) in Emmerdale, while Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) gets an unwelcome visitor in Hollyoaks

Lisa reveals Sharon’s secret at Mel’s funeral in EastEnders

The day of Mel’s funeral arrives, and Lisa’s incredibly upset about having to bid farewell to her best mate. However, as the wake gets underway, she’s frustrated when Sharon and Phil show up. With Sharon receiving praise from fellow mourners, Lisa decides to make a speech — during which she calls Sharon a murderer, and proceeds to drop the mother of all bombshells. Yes, she reveals that Phil’s not the father of Sharon’s baby.

One to watch: Monday 2nd December at 8pm on BBC One.

Robert deals with Vicky in Coronation Street

With his wedding to Michelle imminent, Robert takes matters into his own hands to ensure Vicky stays away from the ceremony, but — later in the week — Tyler interrupts the proceedings, and demands to know what Robert’s done with his mum. With the possibility of Robert having potentially murdered Vicky being thrown around, Michelle remembers how he informed her that his ex wouldn’t be a problem.

One to watch: Monday 2nd December at 8:30pm on ITV. 

Kim has the DNA results in Emmerdale

After receiving the DNA test results, Kim attempts to track down Andrea so that she can inform her about said results. However, when she manages to locate Andrea, she realises that the young woman is bleeding — and fears that she’s losing the baby. As a result, she wastes little time in getting her the hospital, and once she sees Jamie with his wife, she’s conflicted about what to do for the best.

Luke goes to the hospital in Hollyoaks

Luke’s hand continues to seize up and he’s worried as a result, so he books a hospital appointment and asks if Darren wouldn’t mind going with him. Later in the week, Darren accompanies Luke to his MRI scan and, afterwards, he tells him to stay strong.

Mick’s concerns for Linda grow in EastEnders

Mick’s worried about how much Linda is relying on alcohol, so he comes up with a plan to curb her drinking. He suggests a Christmas detox and, although Linda’s not too pleased about it, she agrees. However, when the couple get some good news from Ollie’s teacher, they’re overjoyed — that is, until Mick realises that Linda’s been drinking.

Bernie attempts to deal with Kel in her own way in Coronation Street

After speaking to the police in regards to the abuse her suffered at the hands of Kel, Paul informs Bernie and Gemma that he’s afraid there simply isn’t enough evidence to get a conviction. Determined to ensure Kel suffers for what he’s done, Bernie heads down to the precinct and proceeds to write ‘paedo’ under the picture of Kel on the security team’s noticeboard. A fight soon ensues, and Chesney is caught in the middle.

Wendy moves into the village in Emmerdale

Wendy takes it upon herself to move into the village — and Diane is horrified when she learns the news. Victoria is naturally devastated, but Luke promises her that he had no idea. In spite of the resistance she receives, Wendy stands her ground — but someone smashes her windows in an attempt to terrify her out of the village.

Mercedes receives an unwelcome visitor in Hollyoaks

Mercedes is tormented with flashbacks from the night that she was shot, but that proves to be the least of her worries, as someone sneaks into her hospital room while she’s sleeping — something which results in her heart rate increasing.

One to watch: Monday 3rd December at 7pm on E4.

Shirley causes problems for Callum and Ben in EastEnders

Tubbs is horrified to realise that Callum wants to become a police officer, and word of the young man’s career choice soon spreads around — which results in several of Phil’s associates pulling out of deals. Shirley informs Ben that he’s playing with fire, so — in an attempt to ensure his dad’s reputation stays intact — he hatches a plan.

Michelle and Robert’s wedding arrives in Coronation Street

 As the wedding arrives, Michelle reveals to Carla that she’s planning to expose the truth about Robert.
