EASTENDERS fans are convinced that Stacey Fowler will be the one to attack Phil Mitchell and leave him for dead.

Yesterday, The Sun Online exclusively revealed how the hardman will be left for dead in a shocking plot twist.

And the feisty mum-of-two, played by Lacey Turner, was the topic of conversation among fans on Walford Web soap forum this week, as viewers predicted Phil's demise could pave the way for the actress's exit storyline.

"Stacey might hit him and she goes to prison for her maternity leave exit storyline?" quizzed one.

Another commented: "I wouldn't mind it being Stacey at it would be a great way for her to leave. Though EastEnders at heart always had very sexist undertones so I do wonder if they would allow 'King Phil' to be violently attacked by a woman."

"Mitchells vs. Fowlers deserves a new chapter, as their previous feuds have been some of my favourite material the show has produced."

And a fourth chimed: "Love the idea of it being Stacey. Queen taking it upon herself to rid the world of the Mitchells, one by one."

A spell behind bars could be the perfect exit for Lacey, who revealed that she was pregnant with her first child back in February.

However, while the theory would be convenient, the prime suspects are Phil's son Ben, played by Max Bowden, his girlfriend Sharon (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).

Walford mechanic Phil- played by Steve McFadden, 60- finds himself in danger when he goes in search of those responsible for the theft of his money laundering proceeds.

Ben is also determined to fleece him while Sharon is desperate to keep her affair with Keanu a secret.

A BBC source said: “Things have been bubbling for a while with those keeping secrets from Phil.

“With him oblivious to it all and looking forward to becoming a father and grandfather again, life couldn’t be looking more perfect.

“But secrets never stay secret for long in Albert Square.

“As everything comes to a head, certain truths will be revealed, but others remain hidden — for now.

An argument ensues and quickly escalates, forcing those involved to fight their corner, leaving Phil fighting for his life.”
