EastEnders fans baffled after spotting two Sharon Mitchells in the same scene
8th April 2021

EastEnders viewers did a double-take during Thursday's episode when they spied not one, but two, Sharon Mitchells in the same scene.

Sharon's long lost brother Zack (James Farrar) stole her keys and broke into her house, rifling through her belongings to find a safe that had been left by their late dad.

While he rummaged, Sharon, played by the iconic Letitia Dean, burst in and spied him, confronting him with the locked safe in her hands.

However, viewers were more distracted by something in the background – a knitted doll version of Sharon.

With a pink jumper and blonde hair, the doll was a miniature version of the Queen of Walford.

Taking to Twitter, viewers couldn't help but exclaim over the quirky prop, delighted Sharon had commissioned a knitted version of herself.

One gushed: "Brilliant! Sharon has a knitted doll of herself! #EastEnders."

"Sharon's Sharon doll on her bed with the pink jumper," added a second.

And a third chimed: "Wtf has Sharon got a doll of herself on her bed? #eastenders. That flat is random as hell. The photos. It's like a museum."

Later, Zack unlocked the box with Sharon, only to find it had been filled with sentimental items – rather than wads of cash.

He furiously slammed the box to the floor, revealing he had tracked Sharon down with the sole intention of inheriting cash from his late dad.

Sharon tried to convince him to stay, opening up about the death of her son Denny and confessing she could do with someone to confide in.

Unfortunately, Zack claimed he had no interest, and stormed out of the house, leaving a tearful Sharon behind.

Thankfully, he returned later in the evening with a shopping bag filled with dinner ingredients, promising to cook her scallops with a bottle of wine.

Sharon's face lit up in delight, thrilled by the prospect of getting to know her little brother.

Does Zack have Sharon's best intentions at heart, or does he have another scheme up his sleeve?
