Dani Dyer fails to raise a smile as she's seen for the first time since dumping Love Island boyfriend Jack Fincham
8th December 2018

The reality TV star and daughter of EastEnders actor Danny looked miserable as she stared at the pavement on a wintry walk this afternoon.

Dani, 22, clutched her phone and handbag as she went for a stroll wrapped up in a light pink bomber jacket.

The star looked dressed down in her glasses wearing a pair of jeans.

It's after her ex Jack broke his silence for the first time today when he shared a picture of their dog Sandy while they continue their legal battle.

The former pens salesman showed fans he's in charge of the pup for now in the aftermath of their shock split.

Jack returned to social media after a brief break as he came to terms with his relationship ending after just four months.

In that time Jack and Dani bought bulldog Sandy, moved in together and even gushed about marrying next year.

But The Sun Online revealed Dani dumped Jack  -but he was desperate to try and make things work.

Dani released a statement on Instagram shortly after The Sun Online broke the story, but swiftly deleted it moments later.

She wrote: "Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. It's been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we've sadly come to the realisation that it's not meant to be long term.

"We both plan to stay friends. I hope you'll all understand. Love Dani x."

Awkwardly, their split was exposed on the day a new trailer for Love Island's Christmas Reunion in which they play the happy couple sharing presents and dancing.

It's believed Jack desperately tried to stop the break up, but Dani had had enough.

Despite rumours about furious rows, the pair insisted they would be together forever – until now.

An insider told The Sun Online said:  "Dani may have said this was a mutual decision, but that's not the case. She ended it.

"He felt they could have made it work, but she showed a hard side and called time on the relationship."

Her dad Danny is thought to have begged his daughter to dump Jack weeks after they left Love Island.

It's believed her family are secretly pleased she's finally ended it over worries about the impact being with Jack could have on her career.
