DAN Walker took a brutal swipe at a Channel 5 weather live on air.
The seasoned presenter, 46, was hosting the broadcaster's flagship bulletin alongside Tessa Chapman on Monday.
During the show both anchors discussed the current hot spell just as summer finally came to an end.
As they headed into a break, Tessa teased: "We're going to be asking is it here to stay?
"Our favourite meteorologist Clare Nasir will be joining us live."
After Clare delivered her lines to viewers, Dan then quipped: "As you [Tessa] say favourite, I do love Clare.
