Line of Duty: Vicky McClure refuses to discuss H

However, when Dan Walker tried to get answers about who the final H is in Line of Duty, Vicky quickly shut him down refusing to answer the question. The presenter was left disappointed as Vicky wouldn’t give any teasers about the identity of H but simply promised fans would be happy with the latest instalment.

Dan remarked: “Lots of people will be looking forward to the return of Line of Duty, which is all filmed and all finished.

“How hard was that because, all the restrictions and the perspex screens, does it still have that same intense magic?”

“You know the best thing about it, one, I’m so grateful that I could go back to work, we don’t understand that now,” Vicky replied.

“But you know, Jed Mercurio was running a very tight set and when they shouted ‘action,’ coronavirus didn’t exist, which was always nice.

“We were really safe and props to every member of the crew and cast that we didn’t get shut down really.

“It’s in the can, I don’t know when it’s out but my God is it packed full of everything.”

She said of life on set: “We have a lot of fun and I have to say, in these times, it was difficult because I was away from home for three months solid which is the longest I’ve ever done.

“It’s like going from family to family, we’ve been working together now for near on 10 years, it was a lot of fun and we always try and make it a good place to work.

“We have a great cast, we’ve got some new great people in the show as well; Kelly McDonald, Perry Fitzpatrick, lots of very good people.”

“I expect you to fob me off when I ask this as per usual but do we get any nearer to finding H?” Dan asked.

Vicky exclaimed: “I think the connection has gone.”

“Oh stop it!” Dan hit back as his co-host Sally Nugent laughed at him.
