Coronation Street spoilers have promised chaos to come in Weatherfield, with dramatic resignations, steamy first dates and a mysterious secret to unearth.
Curtis Delamere (Sam Retford) finally comes clean to Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), having hidden a secret from them since his arrival in Manchester.
Meanwhile, Fiz Brown (Jenny McAlpine) starts to move on with charming newcomer Phill, only for her ex Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to hint his feelings for her haven’t disappeared.
Elsewhere, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) costs his fiancé his job, while Laura Neelan (Kell Allen) decides to make money from her daughter’s trauma.
Below are the juiciest Corrie spoilers of the week – don’t miss an episode.
Web of lies
Todd starts to second guess his scheming when he realises he has hurt the people he loves the most.
Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) learns the insurance won’t cover the cost of the stolen heat pump and is forced to tell the bishop what has happened.
Todd is crushed when he learns Billy resigned as archdeacon, feeling he was unqualified for the esteemed position.
When Summer Spellman (Matilda Freeman) sees Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) in the cafe, she tears into him, accusing him of ruining Billy’s career over the theft of the heat pump.
What will happen when Billy learns it’s Todd – not Paul – who stole the heat pump?
Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) asks Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) would he mind looking after Sam for a week, and he leaps at the opportunity, setting him up in Oliver’s old bedroom.
Nick is uncertain when Sam puts up his astronomy posters on the walls, concerned it will hurt Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) feelings, but she is quick to reassure the schoolboy it's alright.
Sam gives Leanne a grateful hug, but disaster strikes in the afternoon when he wanders onto the balcony with his music playing through his headphones.
Nick can’t find him anywhere and starts to panic he has gone missing, conducting a frenzied search around the streets with Leanne.
Thankfully, they soon realise Sam has been on the balcony the whole time – and dad Nick realises he needs to stop mollycoddling him.
Tyrone has his heart set on writing a retaliation article about Fiz, but Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) is quick to talk him out of it, pointing out he was in the wrong.
When Fiz learns what Tyrone had been planning to do, she confronts him in the cafe, making him feel guilty.
Later, Fiz heads on a date with Phill and they hit it off, only for Tyrone to walk in – to get a takeaway – and catch them flirting.
Fiz asks Tyrone to babysit the kids as she has plans for a second date, but he bitterly pretends he has date plans with Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) that night.
Tyrone and Alina crash Fiz and Phill’s date in the bistro, and the moody mechanic stares at his ex throughout dinner.
Alina heads home early, claiming he has a headache, leaving Tyrone to make snide remarks about Phill and Fiz.
His tone changes, however, when his card is declined, and Phill nobly steps up to pay his bill.
Is Tyrone starting to regret leaving Fiz for another woman?
When she starts complaining about having no money, Laura bags a job at the factory, becoming Underworld’s newest cleaner.
While there, she learns Fiz was offered money at the Gazette to sell her story – giving her a bright idea.
Laura asks Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) can she sell the story about the night of the attack, hoping to make a pretty penny from the traumatic ordeal.
Late at night in the factory, Laura invites Chris the journalist to come to speak with her, asking for money in exchange for Kelly’s story.
Sarah Platt bursts in and catches the discussion – will Laura’s manipulation cost her the job?
The secret is out
Curtis and Emma head to the corner shop to help take Dev Alahan's (Jimmi Harkishin) nude photos for the charity calendar, but a surprise phone call throws him off.
Answering the call, Curtis tells Emma he has a dentist appointment to attend, leaving her alone to finish off the shoot.
Later, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) is shaken to hear Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) reveal she saw Curtis getting cosy with a mystery girl in the bistro.
Trying to protect his daughter, Steve storms off to the bistro, where he demands to know what is going on with Curtis.
Convinced Curtis he has been cheating on Emma, he creates a scene before storming off without getting any answers.
Suddenly, Curtis tells Emma their relationship is over, leaving the barmaid sobbing in the factory kitchen.
Steve is outraged and tracks down Curtis, who confides in him – he's not actually cheating on Emma, but has a health condition.
After vowing not to tell Emma the secret, Steve is conflicted when he finds Emma crying over the breakup, realising he can't offer her any comfort.
Curtis finally tells Emma the secret about his health, leaving her with a decision on her hands – will they get back together?
His stress levels mount when Dev decides he's pulling out of the calendar shoot, convinced it'll ruin his chances of getting accepted as a member at a nearby golf club.
Emma realises Curtis is stressed out and starts to fear the incident will take a toll on his health, his condition potentially deteriorating.
Is Emma right to worry?
