Coronation Street fans were overjoyed tonight as deputy head Phil Gillespie’s nasty torment of poor Brian Packman was exposed this evening.
Tonight, Brian became victim to cruel Phil again after he was told to go home – despite it being the day of the Nativity play that he put in all hours to organise.
Brian went to the Rovers to try and drown his sorrows, but was persuaded by his friends not to let Phil take all the glory for the production.
He turned up to the play, which was a huge success. But when he was brought onto the stage by Phil, the deputy head hooked him into a mechanical lever which hoisted him into the air. Poor Brian ended up vomiting all over the governors and head teacher.
Later, Brian confronted Phil in the classroom, during which Phil admitted to bullying Brian.
"You’ve lost, mate," he snarled. "If you think I bullied you before wait until tomorrow – sacking a teacher is a long and painful process and you’ll be begging to wave the white flag once I’ve finished with you."
What he didn’t know, was that Jack Webster had filmed his whole speech.
"Bullying is bad," Jack startled Phil by saying as he held up his camera phone.
"What are you doing with that phone?" Phil asked, going white.
"Videoing you," Jack replied before turning to Brian. "Dad wanted to know if you needed a lift back, Mr Packham."
Phil demanded for the phone back but Jack grinned: "Have a look online – I’ve just posted it."
We don’t think Phil will be getting a promotion any time soon…
