Coronation Street star Mikey North and his wife, Rachael Isherwood, have welcomed their second child together, a baby girl.
The couple chose to keep quiet on the news of their daughter’s birth back in September but have now chosen to share the details with the world in the latest issue of OK! magazine.
However, it sounds like this will be the final child for the couple – who also have a two-year-old son, Archie.
‘I would be highly surprised if we had any more,’ Mikey, who plays Gary Windass in the soap, previously told the magazine. ’Two is a great number.’
Rachael also spoke about the ‘horrendous’ first three months of her pregnancy, as she revealed she experienced morning sickness – which she did not suffer while pregnant with Archie.
‘The first three months were horrendous with morning sickness,’ she said. ‘Well, sickness throughout the whole day.
‘But, touch wood, since then everything has been fine. I don’t have any sickness with Archie.’
Rachael also went through a tough time in labour with Archie – she lost 1.5 litres of blood when a vein was accidentally severed during an episiotomy.
The couple have also revealed that they will be keeping their newborn’s name a secret, revealing that Archie had a big role in naming his little sister.
Mikey, who stars as Gary in the ITV soap, first met Rachael a bar in Manchester in 2013, with the two tying the knot in 2016 in a ceremony in Curradine Barns in Shrawely, Worcestershire.
