Coronation Street viewers were left scratching their heads on Friday evening as they were convinced they heard the theme tune of a rival soap being played during the episode.
Billy Mayhew showed off his piano playing skills during the latest visit to Weatherfield after he purchased the new instrument.
The vicar couldn't contain his excitement and played a tune in the middle of the street for all the residents to hear, including his ex Todd Grimshaw.
As Billy was tinkling on the old ivories, viewers at home were certain they heard the character play the theme tune to EastEnders.
Corrie fans rushed to their keyboards as they made the bizarre observation during the latest visit to Weatherfield.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "I thought Billy was playing the EastEnders theme on that piano for minute!"
Another added: "Totally thought Billy was playing the EastEnders theme tune then."
A third person posted: "Oh come on, Billy, everyone bashes out the EastEnders theme when they have a go on the Joanna."
While a fifth viewer said: "Why is Billy playing the EastEnders theme tune?"
A sixth social media user pointed out: "For about three notes, I thought Billy was about to play the EastEnders theme…"
"Honestly thought billy was playing the eastenders theme for a moment then," a seventh person said.
