Coronation Street: Tim is attacked by Stephen
Coronation Street’s Tim Metcalfe (played by Joe Duttine) still needs to be found after being dumped in the middle of the woods by Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), but director David Kester has teased the worst is yet to come for Tim.
Whilst Tim is stuck inside the boot of his car, back in the Cobbles Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) are panicking over his whereabouts.
As Stephen lay on the floor dying, he attempted to say Tim’s name and looked as if he was going to reveal where he was, but he died just before.
Sally and Elaine now have a mammoth task on their hands to try and work out where Tim is before it is too late.
Director David Kester recently opened up about the importance of finding the right location for the scenes with Stephen and Tim and teased that help is “just out of reach”.

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press, he said: “We spent a long time looking for that, especially the urban one because it wasn’t written like that originally.
“But we wanted to make it feel more urban and more Coronation Street but that place was incredible.
“I mean we literally sent a team in to make it safe for filming, who went and cleaned up all the syringes and you know bits of awful things that were lying around to make it safe to work in.
“Then they came in and we replaced it with our own syringes and bits of rubbish, it is a great location because it isn’t a million miles away.

“It is kind of hiding in plain sight, you know that Tim is in danger there because it is a bit maze-like.
“And you know he is not going to be found easily and then you have got these trains going past every five minutes which makes it look like help is almost there but just out of reach.”
Will Tim be able to free himself from the boot of his car, struggling with a head injury? Or will it be too late with him going down as Stephen’s final victim?
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
