Simon Cowell decided to use his Golden Buzzer on the second episode of Britain's Got Talent – after being blown away by stand-up comedian Axel.
The hit ITV talent show has just returned with its highly-anticipated 15th series on Saturday night, and a second episode aired on Sunday (April 17).
Regular judges Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are all back on the panel to find the most talented acts Britain has to offer.
And it seems head judge Simon had already found his favourite act in the competition, beacause he pressed his Golden Buzzer on 33-year-old property maintenance manager Axel Blake.
The London-based comic blew Simon away with his hilarious stand-up routine, which involved jokes about driving, the underground, cryptocurrency and Covid.
And Simon was so impressed that he decided to put him straight through to the live semi-finals with the press of a button.
ITV viewers were divided by the moment on Twitter, with some thrilled for the comedian and others who didn't believe he deserved Simon's buzzer.
One wrote: "Fair play Simon he was very very funny."
A second agreed: "Really enjoyed Axel. Very funny guy."
Others didn't believe he deserved the buzzer.
One wrote: "There’s no way that’s golden buzzer worthy"
Simon's buzzer is the second Golden Buzzer moment of the series, coming just after Amanda used hers on stunning singer Loren Allred.
Loren wowed the crowd with an incredible rendition of Never Enough from The Greatest Showman soundtrack, which she featured on.
Although she doesn't appear in the movie, she sang the vocals on the hit track for actress Rebecca Ferguson who played opera singer Jenny Lind.
Opening up about her career, Loren said: "I feel kind of like the song was meant for me and I'm ready to put a face to the song, so I'm here to do that."
