BBC viewers called out presenter Laura Kuenssberg for ‘speaking over’ First Minister Nicola Sturgeon during their Scottish referendum debate.
During Sunday’s installment of her titular political programme, the 46-year-old journalist discussed the proposed Scottish poll along with the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Kuenssberg asked Ms Sturgeon if she was confident over whether Scotland would have another referendum next year.
‘I am very sceptical over whether new exploration can pass that test,’ she replied.
‘Without seeing the climate compatibility assessments, I can’t answer that question in the hypothetical.’
However, as the interview intensified, fans expressed their annoyance and blasted Kuenssberg for ‘interrupting.’
‘Laura constantly interrupted and spoke over Nicola Sturgeon It was therefore very difficult to hear what Nicola was saying,’ one complained.
‘What is the point of having party leaders on if they’re not allocated enough time or if Laura is just going to constantly interrupt?’
‘Laura is trying to interrupt Nicola all the time. Grrrr!!!,’ another added.
Echoing a similar sentiment, one person said: ‘There’s no point having Nicola Sturgeon on the show if you’re going to constantly interrupt her and talk over her. Very poor.’
