Johannes Radebe penned a gushing tribute to his Strictly Come Dancing celebrity partner Annabel Croft ahead of Saturday's show.
Next to shots of the pair enjoying the sights of Blackpool, the South African choreographer, 36, wrote on Instagram: "You dance so beautifully, and each week you bring such strength and joy to this journey. It has been wonderful to see you grow and I am so incredibly proud of you for everything you have achieved.
"I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being my leading lady and sharing this truly special adventure with me. I now hold a dancer in my arms. Keep going darling Annabel. Much love x.
"Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to vote and for supporting us on our Strictly journey," he added.
"It means so much to know that you are there. x."
Such was the power of Johannes's sentiment, his fans weighed in with their own directed at him.
"You are such a beautiful human being and the kindness and compassion you show makes people feel that they can achieve their dreams. Your Lady has become a wonderful dancer," one response read.
A second user shared: "Fate brought you together and you have taken her heart and held it in your hands and led her to where you are now JoJo…. you a beautiful human and thank god you're in the world."
Retired tennis player Annabel, 57, has endured a heartbreaking year on a personal level, after the death of her husband Mel Coleman in May as he'd been battling stomach cancer for just 16 weeks.
Stopping by This Morning last week, she reflected: "It has been a horrific year, it was something I've never anticipated, this was never meant to be how life was going to be. I thought I had a future with my husband, we'd been together since I was 21, 36 years together and I miss him terribly, there is no question about it.
"I so want to speak to him about what we are doing, I miss his humour and I really wish that Johannes had met him because I feel like they would have got on so well."
Having performed a Couple's Choice in memory of Mel earlier on in the glitzy ballroom competition, Annabel told Johannes at the time: "I just wish you had met my husband, because I have these flashbacks to our house and him watching you with tears running down his face. Honestly, it's so special, it's beyond anything I could put into words.
"He used to cry watching it. He used to call me over if I was cooking, and he was crying watching it. So, I hope he's watching up there."
“I couldn’t imagine doing it with anybody else," she later commented on spin-off It Takes Two. "I know I’ve said that a few times, but Johannes understands grief as well and that’s why we connect so well."
Strictly Come Dancing resumes this Saturday on BBC One.
