BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty shocks Charlie Stayt by sharing brutal nickname with viewers | The Sun
26th October 2023

NAGA Munchetty shocked her co-star when she called him by a brutal nickname during this morning's show.

Naga, 48, was back on the red sofa alongside Charlie Stayt as they brought viewers the latest news.

And with Halloween fast approaching, they sent their roving reporter Ben Boulos to a pumpkin farm in Harpenden.

Ben joined Charlie and Naga as he stood with a variety of pumpkins and squashes.

He then played a game with the pair, testing them to see if they knew the difference between both.

Naga kicked off the competition by correctly guessing that Musquee De Provence was indeed a squash.

But Charlie 61, wasn't as clued-up and failed to identify a Warty Goblin as a pumpkin.

The game resulted in Charlie scoring zero points as Naga correctly guessed all her pumpkins and squashes.

Ben, 39, then told the anchor: “Two-nil to Naga! Naga you know your cucurbits, Charlie I think you’re this morning’s pumpkin I’m afraid, sorry.”

Gloating at her win, Naga joked: “Can we call him, what’s the warty goblin one? Can we call Charlie’s nickname that today?”
