All Together Now viewers accuse Geri Horner of ‘lying’ after massive mistake

All Together Now viewers have accused Geri Horner of ‘lying’ after she made a massive mistake.

The BBC singing contest returned to our screens tonight for its second series with the Spice Girl and presenter Rob Beckett.

The six-part series sees conventional judges scrapped for The 100 – a unique panel of music experts and performers from across the UK.

If any of The 100, which includes Geri, like what they hear they stand up and join in with the performance.

However, Geri forgot what she was meant to do during the second act of the night.

Lucy, an Adele tribute from Bristol, wowed most of the 100 with her electric performance of Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love.

So Rob admitted he was surprised that Geri had decided to remain seated.

The Spice Girl looked a bit sheepish as she held her hands up to her big blunder.

She confessed: "Well I have to…Lucy…I pressed the button too late. Iput my hands up.

"I don’t usually like rock but you’ve proved, regardless of the song genre, if you do it right, do it true, you get everyone standing up."

Lucy still got a high score and went to second spot on the leaderboard with 81 of the 100 standing up.

All Together Now viewers took to Twitter to blast Geri for her error.

One viewer said: "Geri pressed the button too late. She had one thing to do. Useless."

Another added: "Second act and geri has forgotten the rules of the show already. Press the damn button!"

A third said: "Geri already telling lies…saying she pressed the button but was to late"

* All Together Now airs Saturdays on BBC One at 7.30pm
