A PLACE in the Sun’s Jonnie Irwin has revealed the one thing that truly offends him from picky buyers.

The Channel 4 host, who has been a regular on the show since 2004, spilled the beans on his house hunting pet peeves.

The property expert has come across a few difficult guests in his time and has revealed that he only takes offence if someone doesn't take the search “seriously”.

Jonnie, 47, opened up about those difficult customers to the Express, he said: "I had one couple who had looked around most of the property.

“And even before we had left, I remember the husband saying ‘no’ and the wife saying, ‘I quite like it’.”

“And that was a surprise,” the property expert added. “Because I thought they'd come back and think, ‘yeah, it needs a bit of work but we could both do this’ but he was adamant.

“I don’t get offended. I only get offended when people aren’t taking it [the search] seriously.”

The dad-of-three also explained that he likes the guests to have a proper look inside of the property, without making snap judgements of the location.

Jonnie recently revealed the heartbreaking reason that he can't film abroad for the new series.

The Channel 4 team are currently abroad filming for the new series in Greece but Jonnie said that he doesn’t want to risk travelling abroad amid the coronavirus in case he gets stuck there and can't see his family.

He said: "A few people [presenters] have gone out already to Portugal.

“I haven’t because I have a very young family at home, and I just can't afford to have to quarantine and things like that.

“So, I'm waiting at home for a bit longer, but I am desperate to get out there.”

The latest series, which was filmed last year before the third lockdown, is currently airing on Channel 4 viewers.
