A Place in the Sun host Danni Menzies was left red-faced when her guests blasted her property choice as being everything that they "didn't want".
Couple Sue and Andy, both of Cypriot descent, were looking for a retirement home with a budget of £150,000 in the city of Larnaca where they could relax and enjoy the sun.
Andy was hoping to spend his retirement years to write a book while wife Sue wanted to practise her yoga and meditation in the warm-weathered city.
Appearing on Saturday's episode on Channel 4, Danni took them to a two-bed house in the area of Meneou and asked for their first impression from outside.
Andy said: "To be honest, it's not as appealing from the outside as it might be from the inside."
Sue stated her worry about the views as the house sits at the corner of the street, facing the neighbours.
Danni explained: "I want to show you what you can get within your budget, where you've got a beach right on your doorstep.
"We are looking at is a two bedrooms. It's got one bathroom upstairs and a loo downstairs.

"You've got a nice little outside space at the back as well. It's on the market for just under £138,500."
But Andy was unconvinced and continued to blast the property by labelling it "holiday place" rather than a retirement place.
Stepping into the centre area of the house, Sue looked around and quickly gave her first thoughts, saying: "Urgh, I feel closed in already.
"There's nowhere nice to look out at, that's exactly what I don't want.
"I have that in England, I don't want it here.
"Fantastic location, what a shame."
Danni took in the comments before adding: "That's OK, it's got to be right, like you said. That's alright, shall we have a little bit more look and see how you feel?"
The first tour ended short but luckily Danni managed to secure a lovely hillside home with breathtaking views and a private pool for the couple at £137,500.
