The billionaire boss, 73, is “angry” with the Dead Man, according to several reports, due to a scheduled non-WWE appearance.
The Phenom, real name Mark Callaway, will be at the Starrcast II wrestling convention on May 25 – one day before rival promotion AEW show Double Or Nothing in the same city of Las Vegas.
That followed on from the 53-year-old officially deleting references to WWE for his social media accounts.
However Undertaker, who has worked for WWE since 1990, has moved to end speculation by calling McMahon an “awesome leader” – suggesting any talk of tension between the pair is way off the mark.
The seven-time world champion discussed his friendship with McMahon during a fascinating interview with American pastor Ed Young.
And when describing McMahon, he said: “He's awesome.
“You may see him on TV and think, ‘man, I do not like that guy’, but he is awesome.

“He wouldn't ask anybody to do anything that he wouldn't do.
“He's really built an empire from hard work and dedication and energy.”
Undertaker added: “When you see that man and what he puts into it, you feel ‘Well, I at least have to try to match that’.
“He's an awesome leader. I call him boss, but we're like friends now than we are employee and company owner.”
The in-ring career of Undertaker still remains unclear with his last-appearance coming in November at Crown Jewel.
There are currently no plans in WWE for the iconic Dead Man to compete at WrestleMania 35 in April.
