William Haggas' Country will likely shape the market here on the back of his solid third at Haydock on his reappearance.
The form of that race has been boosted since, with the runner-up Harrovian winning cosily at Doncaster, but there is more than a strong suspicion he could be vulnerable over this 1m4f trip.
So he is taken on with the classy filly BELLA VITA, who drops in class on her first start of the season.
She was a taking winner over this trip on her last start in a handicap at Ascot in July, and she backed that victory up with two excellent runs in Listed company.
She was last of five in a tactical Group 3 on her reappearance at Haydock, but that was a strong race and she is expected to take a big step forward eased in grade with that pipe-opener under her belt.
Ed Walker's Caradoc ran well to finish fourth behind Crossed Baton in November and he is a very capable performer on his day.
He's won fresh in the past, but this will probably require a career-best off a mark of 100.
Severance ran a cracker at Newmarket and should be thereabouts off 3lb higher, while Frankuus is not the force of old but is worth a market check on his first start for 416 days.
