Serena Williams romps to straight-set victory over Barbora Strycova to book spot in her ELEVENTH Wimbledon final and set up Simona Halep showdown
Serena Williams has booked a spot in her eleventh Wimbledon final after coasting to a straight-sets victory over Barbora Strycova.
The Czech, who ended Britain’s Jo Konta’s chances of winning her home Grand Slam, was powerless to stop an imperious Williams as she took the first set 6-1.
Williams continued to dominate in the second, taking it 6-2 to set up a final showdown against Simona Halep.
