THIS year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year will be announced TONIGHT – and fans have a sneaky decision on who should win it.

2023 will see the 70th anniversary of the prestigious night and there are some huge names in the running to take home the title.

The winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year is decided by public vote.

It recognises the personality who has most captivated the British public over the past calendar year.

Last December saw Beth Mead become the first female footballer to take home the celebrated trophy.
