ENGLAND legend Alastair Cook was clean bowled by a 15-YEAR-OLD during a village cricket match on Monday evening.
The 37-year-old, who is contracted to Essex, was featuring for Bedfordshire Young Farmers CC in their Heritage Cup quarter-final against Potton Town.
One of the greatest batsmen in cricket history, Cook is England's all-time leading run scorer in Tests with 12,472 runs.
He surpassed Graham Gooch’s 20-year-old record of 8,900 runs in 2015, before retiring from international cricket three years later.
He is the fifth-highest Test run scorer of all time, with no other left-handed batsmen boasting more runs in the long format of the game.
And he made a decent start to the innings for Bedfordshire in their 12-over clash against Potton after hitting three boundaries from his opening 14 balls, scoring 20 runs in total.

Incredibly, the youngster wasn't even born when Cook made his Test debut against India in March 2006.
Fast bowler Shackleton starred with the ball, as he picked up four wickets from his four overs, giving away 37 runs.
He was Town's best performer as they beat the Young Farmers by 26 runs.
