Vince McMahon brings in new rule for ‘EVERY’ WWE match which means they have reason or stipulation for going ahead
15th June 2021

VINCE MCMAHON has reportedly brought in a new rule for every WWE match going forwards.

Ringside News claim the billionaire owner has been “beating up the writers and producers” over suggestions for “cold matches.”

The report added that from now on, McMahon is looking for stories and not just pro wrestling matches that are screened just for the sake of it.

This explains why Jeff Hardy's clash with Cedric Alexander on Monday Night RAW this week carried an unsual stipulation.

Minutes before the surprise match was confirmed, the former Brother Nero claimed he would retire if he lost the match.

Thankfully for fans, Jeff scored the win following his patterned Twist of Fate into a Swanton Bomb combination.

SunSport previously reported that WWE owner McMahon was allegedly unhappy that RAW suffered timing issues earlier this month.

The 75-year-old has recently been on a firing splurge with the likes of Braun Strowman, Lana, Ruby Riott and Aleister Black all let go.

Nine stars were released in April, including the likes of Samoe Joe, Mickie James, Chelsea Green and Bo Dallas.

And fan favourites Braun Strowman, Lana, Buddy Murphy and Aleister Black among others were let go earlier this month.

This is in addition to WWE commentator Tom Phillips being sacked in May after nearly ten years on camera.

His departure came just days after fellow commentator Adnan Virk was also released.

But more positively, WWE are set to rehire Samoa Joe for their NXT brand to stop rivals AEW poaching him following his release.
