A NEWCASTLE legend made a surprise appearance on Sky Sports where he looked unrecognisable.
The former centre-back started his career at Newcastle and spent 11 years at St James' Park.
The ex-England international amassed a total of seven goals and 11 assists in 238 appearances with the Magpies.
That was before the now 51-year-old went on to play for the likes of Manchester City, Leicester, Bolton, New England Revolution, Hartlepool United and Bishop Auckland.
And that is none other than Steve Howey, who shared some interesting insight during his latest TV appearance.
However, some fans struggled to recognise him and one of them even thought he was another former Newcastle personality.

The sale took place two years ago and saw Ashley becoming richer by £300million.
