Dramatic footage shows the moment a dust devil swirled around a young baseball player during a game in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday, 14 May.

Bauer Zoya, 7, a catcher for the Ponte Vedra Sharks, was swept up in the whirlwind as he played against the Fort Caroline Athletic Association Indians before 17-year-old umpire Aidan Wiles rushed in to save him.

“So I held my breath and I feel like I couldn’t touch the ground. So I kind of lifted up a little bit,” Bauer told News4Jax.
