MANCHESTER UNITED are "highly interested" in Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports.
The France striker impressed at the World Cup and almost scored the winning goal in the final, with Emi Martinez producing an amazing save to stop his strike.
His performances have attracted attention from several clubs but Eintracht Frankfurt are keen to hold onto the 24-year-old.
According to Sky Germany, United are "highly interested" in signing Muani as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
But they could face a challenge for his signature with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund rumoured to be keen.
They also face an obstacle in the form of his reported £80million asking price.

Muani only signed for Frankfurt in the summer and penned a five-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.
Frankfurt sports director Markus Krösche ruled out Muani's departure, saying: "We will not sell Kolo Muani."
It is also believed Muani wants to stay at Frankfurt beyond the summer as long as they qualify for European football.
